Starting Hearts’ “CALL. PUSH. SHOCK.” curriculum is a collection of learning modules designed to educate people of all ages about the actions to take in the event of a cardiac arrest.
The course is taught in schools across the country as a hybrid of both live demonstration and instructional video. There are four different versions of the children’s course, each aimed at a different age demographic, as well as an adult course.
Additionally, there is also a course for the curriculum presenters to be trained on how to present the class.
Each of the children’s courses feature an animated scenario where characters are put into an emergency situation and must rely on their CALL. PUSH. SHOCK. training to take the necessary actions.
